Je dois dire que je ne suis jamais déçu : ses romans sont palpitants et on s'y plonge complètement, tant ils sont riches en émotions et suscitent la réflexion. Dans « Run Away », un père recherche sa fille disparue, et depuis, il la cherche sans relâche. Lorsqu'il la retrouve, lui et sa famille adorée se retrouvent en grand danger. Le premier chapitre m'a captivé. Vous savez, ce moment où l'on est tellement absorbé par un livre que plus rien d'autre n'existe ? Eh bien, c'est exactement ce qui m'est arrivé. Chaque personnage s'est imposé à ma conscience, si clairement défini que je pouvais les entendre et ressentir ce qu'ils ressentaient, même si je les craignais. Je ne voulais plus m'arrêter de lire et j'ai donc veillé jusqu'aux petites heures du matin (conseil : commencez à lire tôt si vous ne voulez pas passer la nuit blanche !). « Run Away » est un pur régal, addictif et captivant, pour les yeux et l'esprit. Si vous n'avez pas encore lu Harlan Coben, c'est le moment idéal.

I have to say that I am never disappointed, his are thrilling novels that you can completely disappear into as they spear emotions and provoke thoughts. In Run Away a father searches for his daughter, she ran, and he has been searching ever since, when he finds her, he and the rest of his much-loved family find themselves in terrible danger. The first chapter snared my imagination, you know when you fall so deeply into a book that nothing else exists, well that was me. Each character dove into my awareness, so clearly defined, I could hear them and feel for them, even if I feared them. I didn’t want to stop reading and so waved hello to the very early hours (tip: start in good time if you don’t want to pull an all-nighter!). Run Away is a pure, addictive reading feast for the eyes and mind, if you haven’t yet tried A Harlan Coben, now is the perfect time.
