Ahmed is a nine-year-old refugee who fled with his family from Syria, his hometown, when the war broke out. After a long and strenuous journey, Ahmed separated from his parents and ended up in England. He attended a school in London and was placed under an Englishwoman’s care. He barely spoke any English which resulted in some learning difficulties for him throughout his education. In addition, the language barrier also made him feel isolated. In spite of that, his classmates, Alexa and three of her friends, were persistent to form a friendship with Ahmed especially after the class teacher asked him to tell his story. Ahmed’s four friends put together several plans in order to find his parents and ended up successfully executing Alexa’s idea
