Esmée adore les arbres. Elle vit au numéro 8 avec son perroquet, Capitaine P. et Jay, son père. Elle part souvent en voyage à l’étranger pour protéger les arbres des différents continents. À chaque retour, elle offre à Jay un souvenir : une boule à neige. Lorsqu’Esmée et Capitaine P voyagent, les boules à neige changent et indiquent à Jay où ils se trouvent.
