Au troisième étage du donjon, Carl et la Princesse Donut doivent se battre plus que jamais. Ils ont déjà prouvé qu'un ancien garde-côte et une princesse féline, jadis reine, forment une équipe quasi invincible. Leur popularité est au rendez-vous et les spectateurs en redemandent. Mais le donjon devient chaque jour plus dangereux, et voilà qu'un tout nouveau problème surgit… Des quêtes annexes. Ce niveau s'appelle la Cité d'En Haut. Une métropole tentaculaire, jadis florissante, dévastée par une mystérieuse catastrophe. Mais ces rues sont loin d'être abandonnées. Un cirque de morts-vivants erre dans les ruines. Des femmes assassinées tombent du ciel. Et un sort ancien est enfin prêt à révéler ses sombres desseins. Carl et Donut parviendront-ils à survivre à ce niveau à temps ? Et Carl trouvera-t-il enfin un pantalon ?

Now on the third floor of the dungeon, Carl and Princess Donut must fight harder than ever. They’ve already proven that a Coast Guard vet and once-and-forever feline royalty are an almost unstoppable team. Their ratings are off the chart and the watchers can’t get enough. But the dungeon gets more dangerous each day, and now there’s a whole new problem to deal with . . . Side quests. They call this level the Over City. A sprawling, once-thriving metropolis devastated by a mysterious calamity. But these streets are far from abandoned. An undead circus trawls the ruins. Murdered women rain from the sky. And an ancient spell is finally ready to reveal its dark purpose. Can Carl and Donut survive this level in time? And can Carl finally find some pants?
